Stable housing is the foundation for everything else.

Housing Support

Helping previously incarcerated men and those with limited rental history find, secure, and maintain stable housing through advocacy, resources, and landlord partnerships.

Objective: Help previously incarcerated men and those with limited rental history secure and keep stable housing.

Impact: Give men the foundation of a home so they can rebuild their lives and stay out of the system.

About This Program

Stable housing is not a luxury — it is the foundation upon which everything else is built. Without a safe place to sleep, heal, work, and parent, no other program can fully succeed. Our Housing Support program was created specifically for men who face the highest barriers to securing housing: those who are previously incarcerated or who have limited or no rental history.

Landlords often screen out these men automatically, regardless of who they are today. We work to change that by advocating on behalf of participants, educating landlords, and building relationships with property owners committed to second chances. We also provide direct support in understanding tenant rights, navigating applications, budgeting for housing costs, and maintaining stable tenancy long-term.

This program recognizes that a man cannot rebuild his life without a roof over his head — and that our community is stronger when everyone has a stable place to call home.
