What We Offer
Every program at OUR BROS serves a part of our mission. Explore our work below, organized by the driver it addresses — from mentorship and spiritual wealth to our flagship Truth Be Told initiative.
Our flagship initiative confronts the silence around sexual abuse, exploitation, and trauma experienced by boys and men — changing how communities understand, prevent, and respond.
Replacing silence with understanding. Shame with dignity. Isolation with connection.
The flagship initiative of OUR BROS — dedicated to transforming how communities understand, prevent, and respond to the sexual abuse, exploitation, and trauma experienced by boys and men.
Objective: Address the silence and stigma around violence and sexual abuse against boys and men, expose the normalization of trafficking culture, and confront how boys and men can be swept into sex trafficking as victims who may in turn become aggressors.
Impact: Create a safe space to address the impact of violent acts on a physical, mental, and emotional level, while understanding the impact violence has on individuals, families, and community members — building a community that is protected and informed about the power of consent and has the tools to continue healing.
Violence and trauma isolate. Mentorship rebuilds trust, models healthy relationships, and gives Black boys and men a safe space to be seen and supported without judgment.
Building brotherhood through guidance and accountability.
We connect individuals with mentors who provide guidance, encouragement, and support in both personal and professional matters, fostering a sense of brotherhood and accountability.
Objective: Connect men with mentors and peer circles that provide guidance, accountability, and brotherhood.
Impact: Break isolation and build lifelong support networks that extend far beyond the program.
Exposure to violence, abuse, and exploitation fractures identity and spirit. Spiritual wellness restores wholeness, purpose, and a sense of self beyond what has been done to or around them.
Healing through creativity, community, and purpose.
Spiritual Wealth is a dedicated program aimed at restoring the spiritual well-being and wholeness of boys and men — confronting violence not only as a physical or social harm, but as a wound to the spirit.
Objective: Restore the spiritual well-being and wholeness of boys and men wounded by violence and trauma.
Impact: Heal the wound therapy alone cannot reach and build resilience against spiritual harm.
Systemic violence and economic marginalization are linked. Stable employment is a pathway out of cycles of harm — we equip men with skills, confidence, and opportunities to build futures.
From job-ready to career-thriving.
Ready to Work equips men with the skills, resources, and confidence needed to secure and succeed in meaningful employment.
Objective: Remove every barrier between a man and his next employment opportunity.
Impact: Equip men with the skills, confidence, and connections to secure and thrive in meaningful work.
Unaddressed trauma from violence disrupts parenting and family bonds. We help fathers heal, break generational cycles, and show up for their children in healthy, life-affirming ways.
Strong fathers build strong families and communities.
A safe space for fathers to connect, share, and grow — with free access to a kids' activity park for father-child bonding.
Objective: Give fathers a consistent, welcoming community to grow, share, and strengthen their parenting.
Impact: Build stronger fathers who build stronger families and communities.
Essential support for fathers and their children's healthy growth.
Providing fathers and male caregivers with parenting resources, child development guidance, and essential supplies for children.
Objective: Empower fathers and male caregivers with the knowledge and supplies to nurture young children.
Impact: Deepen father-child bonds in the earliest years and set children up for lifelong healthy development.
Marginalized communities are disproportionately impacted by violence. Engaging the broader community builds accountability, awareness, and the collective responsibility to change it.
Honoring lives. Supporting those who grieve.
Honoring and memorializing boys and men we've lost, providing comfort to grieving families and lasting tributes in our community.
Objective: Honor the boys and men we have lost and support the families who grieve them.
Impact: Create lasting tributes and connect grieving families to counseling and community.
Stable housing is the foundation for everything else.
Helping previously incarcerated men and those with limited rental history find, secure, and maintain stable housing through advocacy, resources, and landlord partnerships.
Objective: Help previously incarcerated men and those with limited rental history secure and keep stable housing.
Impact: Give men the foundation of a home so they can rebuild their lives and stay out of the system.
Know your rights. Navigate the system. Rebuild your future.
Rebuild & Restore connects Black and Brown men with practical tools to understand their rights, navigate resources, and access opportunities for restoration — through civic education, pardon and reentry support.

Healing through sport. Leading through coaching.
Offsetting financial barriers to youth sports participation while training men to become coaches, leaders, and mentors.

The path to the prison system often begins in childhood — in classrooms and institutions that fail to support Black children. We assess each child and family and align the resources, discipline, structure, and support needed to interrupt that path before it begins.
Interrupting the path to the prison system — and keeping it interrupted.
Addressing the systemic issues that put Black men in the prison system — starting with the factors children face in school, and extending to young adults and older men already impacted by the judicial system who can offer insight and still need support to break the cycle or avoid returning.
Objective: Interrupt the systemic path that pushes Black boys and men toward the prison system.
Impact: Stabilize children, families, and returning individuals early enough to prevent incarceration and reentry.
Resilience grows when people have a reliable place to turn. The HUB brings support, resources, and brotherhood together under one roof — so no man has to weather hardship alone.
Supplies and support for boys and men — before, during, and after disaster strikes.
The HUB is OUR BROS' resiliency hub — a central space stocked with support and supplies focused on boys and men, with family items available, that opens before, during, and after disasters.
Objective: Provide a central resiliency space stocked with support and supplies focused on boys and men — with family items available — that activates before, during, and after disasters.
Impact: Make sure no boy, man, or family faces a crisis without the supplies and support they need, when they need them most.
